A new job

Starting Monday Sean will once again be working in Brunswick. He just accepted a job with Tires Plus on Scranton Landing. We are excited about this new opportunity which should bring more money and insurance. Please pray for Sean as he starts his new job.

Good news...

For those of you that might not have heard... we should find out if Sean will get his job back with CSX in the next couple of months. They are going to make a decision on February 24th and we should hear something by April 1st. This means that one way or another the holding pattern that we have been in for the past year will be over. We will either get our lives back or be able to start over and hopefully move to a more lucrative area (like, maybe... Knoxville).

We greatly appreciate everyone's thought and prayers over the past year. God has definitely provided for us. It seems like just when we think we won't be able to pay a bill someone will call with a much needed auto repair.

I have to say that I am unsure as to which way I want this decision to go. On one hand, I would love to have our life back and everything return to the way it was. On the other hand, it would be nice to move from Waycross and be closer to my family. Sean would love to work for the railroad again and I think that would make him very happy, so maybe I should pray that it goes that way. My own selfishness would like to move home! I guess we should just pray that God puts us on the right path. Please continue to prayer for our little family!

Revelations 3:8
God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close.

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly!

Our trip to Knoxville

We went to Knoxville for Christmas this year. It was hard as this was the first one without my Pops. Overall, our family did very well. My grandmother is an amazing woman. She has been an amazing source of strength for our entire family. I can't imagine losing a spouse after more than 50 years. But on a lighter note... Caroline got lots of great presents and had a lot of fun. She loved playing with Nana, Poppy and Aunt Kelly. She was also fascinated by my parent's dog Tasha. We all had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone.

Three generations together!!

Our next trip to Knoxville will probably be in May. My sister will graduate from The University of Tennessee College of Business with a degree in Finance. She will finish her years at UT in their new James A. Haslam Business Building. This new building is amazing!! You have to check out the pictures. I am so proud of my sister.
