You have to crawl before you can walk

Caroline has reached several milestones in the past week! On Monday Caroline waived bye-bye for the first time, on Tuesday she started pulling up on furniture and Thursday night she started crawling!! My little baby is crawling!!! She is growing up so fast!! I will put up some pictures soon.

6 month pictures

A couple of weeks ago I had Caroline's 6 month pictures made. She was almost 7 months, but what can I say... I'm behind. Anyway, I have been waiting for the lovely people at Sears to put them on their website so I can share them with all of you. So, finally, here they are!!

7 MONTHS OLD!!!

Miss Caroline is 7 months old today!! I can't believe it!! I thought you all might be interested in how she is doing for her age. According to the American Pregnancy Association-

The Seventh Month:
--Sits without support, may lean forward on both hands (she had this like a month ago!)
--Bears full weight on feet
--Bounces when held in standing position (yea, for like 2 months now!)
--Bears weight on one hand when lying on stomach (she is up on all 4s and trying to crawl, thank you!!)
--Transfers objects from one hand to another
--Bangs objects on surfaces (like sippy cups!)
--Able to fixate on small objects
--Responds to name (umm... she really doesn't know who this Caroline person is, but Princess or Wittles will get a response every time!)
--Awareness of depth and space begin
--Has taste preferences (definitely not turkey or chicken baby food! but, she does love ice water with lemon- go figure!)
--"Talks" when others are talking (can we say CONSTANTLY)
Caroline can say "bye-bye," "da-da," "daddy," "ma-ma," "uh-oh"


What can I say, my child is well advanced and quite possibly a genius!! I guess she takes after her mother :)

My two front teeth

A couple of days ago I made a wonderful discovery. My daughter has two teeth. Her bottom two front teeth have made an appearance. They have broken through her gums and you can see them if you can get her to keep her mouth open and her tongue out of the way. They look so cute!!! Just thought I would share that with all of you! I promise I will put some pictures up soon.
