Ok, I promise I'm going to get a scanner soon so that I can put pictures on this for everyone! Our little Sammy is growing like a weed! He is up to 8 lbs. (as of the last vet visit). For those of you who saw him when we first found him, you would not believe how big he is! He is still growing too. Well, my sister-in-law Heidi is having a girl! You have no idea how shocked the Simpson men are about this. They have all reassured everyone that the doctor is wrong and that it will be born male. Denial! The rest of us are so excited for her. They already have a little boy, Reagan, so this will make a well-balanced family. I also think this has put a small amount of fear in Sean! But don't worry- Sean has already informed me (and everyone else) that we will be having a boy.

"Little Delmer" and Phenergan
Well, I have this to say... I love my mother and father-in-law! After spending the weekend dreaming of being able to eat... well, keep down... solid foods, my husband's wonderful parents brought me some Phenergan. I don't think a new car would have made me as happy as that bottle!! I am happy to report that today I was able to eat solid foods (although I was slightly non-responsive at work and had to be awaken from a couple of short naps beneath my desk, but other than that...!) Just kidding Mom! I'm sure the girls at work are very ready for me to have "Little Delmer" (as my Dad calls it- being that the due date is around my grandfather's birthday!) I started off the day thinking they were all morons that shouldn't be allowed to think or speak out loud and then about 5 minutes later I was ready to sit around a camp fire and sing "Cum-By-Yah!" Good luck girls, is all I have to say! I promise to start adding pictures very soon! I have some cute ones of Sam!
